GRADING PRACTICES

2016-2017

Academic grades play an important role in the schooling process.  The purpose of reporting to parents is to strengthen the home-school connection and to communicate what students know and are able to do. Report cards and progress reports are sent to parents informing them of the degree to which student success in learning and in mastering the standards has occurred. Parents have access to their student’s grades through Power School. Below you will find the practices we follow at Mossy Oaks Elementary School for grading.
